Turunch. What to see.

Turunch is a small resort 20 kilometers south of Marmaris. There are no night clubs, as this place is associated with peace and tranquility. Therefore, if you are a city dweller and are tired of the usual noise from the cafe opposite, then this is the place for you.

In general, Turunch was originally a fishing village. But with the flourishing of tourism in Turkey, fish and fishermen could not compete. As a result, fishermen eventually became just cabmen. That is, visiting tourists ride along the coast cut by bays and show the most fishing places.

And the "sharks" of the hotel business gradually built up the village with their hotels and turned it into a very decent resort with its pronounced "zest". Turunch is surrounded by the beautiful Taurus Mountains. The latter are very popular with people engaged in hiking and paragliding.

A magnificent beach along the small bay of Turunca has become a Mecca for the rest of visitors. Here you can not only lie down and relax in the sun, but also relax by taking part in various water attractions. And for a small fee, you can hire or rent a boat and take a short trip along the rocky coast beyond the bay.

By the way, there are no problems in terms of getting to Turunch and back. Midi buses run from the center of Marmaris to our resort. Travel time 40 minutes. However, from the same Marmaris to Turunch can be reached by sea.
