Encamp.
Encamp is a very convenient place for skiing in the Grandvalira area. The fact is that it is located in close proximity to the capital of the principality (7 km and 10 minutes by bus). And this fact allows you to stay in one of the hotels of Andorra la Vela. And in the ski season it will be much cheaper. And in terms of entertainment, Andorra la Vela will be much more interesting than any of the ski resorts.
However, Encamp himself also offers hotels for those who like skiing. And there is also a good multisports center fitness center. In it you can get physical activity, and then relieve fatigue in the pool or sauna.
There are no ski slopes in Encamp itself. But there is Funicamp here. This is a cable car equipped with cabins for 24 people. The cable car is 6 kilometers long and 32 cabins provide quick delivery of everyone to the ski area. Around the middle of the cable car there is a transfer station. This place is equipped with a ski slope for beginners and a bar for professionals.
